Co-Founder & CEO -- is a thought leader, strategist and entrepreneur who has developed successful businesses that foster agricultural transformation and food security in Africa and emerging markets. Michelle is a former global Managing Director at Accenture with over 20 years of experience in consulting and outsourcing, Chief Executive Officer of a US-based home health services company, and Group Executive Strategy for the pan-African Econet Group.
Michelle serves on the Boards of Directors of the Travel for Impact Fund, Sir Ketumile Masire Foundation and the Botswana Human Resource Development Council (HRDC). Michelle was named Africa’s “Most Influential Woman – Business and Professional Services” by CEO Global in 2017. Michelle holds a BSc. Engineering Degree from Cornell University, where she serves on an advisory board to the Dean of the College of Agriculture & Life Sciences.
Co-Founder -- George is an entrepreneur and political advisor. He serves as Executive Director of the African Democratic Institute (ADI), a think tank focused on enhancing democracy and good governance in Africa. George is in charge of governance programs in the ADI focusing specifically on campaign development, conflict management, and support for democracies in distress.
As an entrepreneur, George is a co-founder in an investment company focused on introducing disruptive innovations in service-oriented industries in Africa, and recently launched as an Uber like mobile application designed to provide delivery of parcels from point to point leveraging motorcycles, called Sendr.
George completed a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with the University of Reading’s Henley Business School. He also has an Honours Degree in Business Administration from Milpark Business School and a Bachelor of Science degree in International relations with the University of London.
COO -- Neil Taylor is an experienced executive and General Counsel with strong M&A and operational experience in emerging markets, including Africa and China. His nearly 30 years of experience includes: as General Counsel of NASDAQ 100 listed Millicom International Cellular where he led the teams that divested Millicom’s Asian assets and as Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer of global electronics distributor Avnet, Inc. At Avnet, he developed and rolled out a best-in-class global Ethics and Compliance program rollout throughout the Americas, Asia/Pacific and EMEA regions. Since 2010, Neil has been primarily focused on Africa, including roles as Chief Legal Officer of Helios Towers Africa and CEO of Econet Power.
Neil holds a J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and a B.A. in Political Science from Indiana University.
Chair -- Infinite Foods Advisory Board -- Mayur is an experienced leader in Africa’s technology and digital sectors. He serves as the Group Chief Operating Officer for the pan-African fintech company, Cassava. Previously Mayur was CEO of the award-winning mobile streaming company, iflix Africa, where he oversaw operations across eight markets. Mayur has been involved in incubating and investing in digital businesses, and was formerly the EVP for Corporate Development and Strategy at Econet Media, and served as the VP for Strategy and Assessment at the Knight Foundation, a $2.5bn US-based organization involved in investing in digital innovation. Mayur is an advisory board member of the NYU Stern Center for Business & Human Rights, and is a former member of World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council. His work has featured in the Lancet, Stanford Social Innovation Review and the Chronicle of Philanthropy. A Rhodes Scholar, Mayur has a Doctorate in International Development from Oxford University, and a BSc (Hons) in International Relations from LSE. Mayur was born and raised in Zimbabwe.
